Aspirin has been used:
• as a stabilizer for blood during 13,14-dihydro-15-keto-prostaglandin F2α (PGFM) measurement[4]
• to evaluate cell viability of BV-2 microglial cell line[5]

General description

Aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug.[1][2] It occurs as white crystalline powder[2] and is derived from salicylic acid.[2]
